After returning to your lodge or camp for sustenance, you will depart towards Lake Nakuru through the Great African Rift Valley. Flocks of flamingos have made Lake Nakuru their home, and they take over the blue waters with their stunning pink feathers – so coloured from the algae in the lake they feed in. More than four hundred other birds make this lake their home, and your African safari guide will help you spot such stunning avian species as: White pelicans, Plovers, Egrets, Marabou stalks.
