Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1: Entebbe – Murchison Falls National Park.

Depart for Murchison falls after an early morning breakfast. Stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which was established in 2005 to reintroduce the southern white rhinoceros to Uganda. Have a light snack after trakking the rhinos and proceed to Murchison Falls National Park via masindi. Lunch and relaxation at the lodge.

DAY 2: Murchison Falls National Park

Drive to the northern bank of the River Nile after breakfast in your open-roof vehicle which will give you an excellent opportunity to view and photograph the diverse wildlife. Your guide will help you spot impeccable views of the wildlife as nature may provide. These may include; the elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard.
After lunch, enjoy the boat cruise upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just few meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the schools of hippos, crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and the Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. Later, return to your lodge and relax in the evening.

DAY 3: Murchison Falls National Park  – Entebbe

We know you wouldn’t wish to leave the pearl of Africa after this breathtaking experience. Just let us know if we may arrange for you another exciting experience in our beautiful country.
Depart for Entebbe en-route stop over at the top of the falls fantastic sight that concludes your visit to murchison. Here the Nile, the longest river in the world, is forced through a narrow gap in the rock (only 7 meters wide), before ferociously plunging down into a frothing pool 43m below and enjoy a photography moment before you embark on your return journey back to Entebbe/Kampala.
