5 Days Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve

Day 1: Kampala /Lake Nakuru National Park

Prepare to tick off one country off your wish list as you cross into Kenya to Lake Nakuru National Park! Flanked by rocky escarpments and pockets of forests. Lake Nakuru’s Fame is anchored on the flamingos and there are over 400 bird species found on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the millions of flamingos is quiet spectacular which make the lake look pink from a distance. The lake has earned a reputation as an important Haven of the endangered animal species particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the Black and White Rhino. There is an opportunity of spotting other animals like the Zebras, Hyenas, Buffaloes, Hippos, Leopards, Baboons among other wildlife.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy a wildlife safari this morning after breakfast. Return in time for your lunch and enjoy an afternoon relaxation at the lodge.

Day 3:  Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara National Reserve.

The epitome of this trip is to the worlds famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Drive along the Mau Escarpment with breathtaking sceneries. Continue to Masai Mara the roads are fairly rough but passable. On arrival, you will check in at your camp, have a few minutes of relaxing kick off for an evening wildlife safari with a possibility if spotting some if not all the big five among several other wildlife and bird species.

Day 4: Masai Mara.

Set out in the dawn with your packed lunch return at dusk for your wildlife safari. The eco system of the Mara reserve holds the highest number of lions and other predators like the leopards, Jackals and hyenas that closely follow the herds of zebras, Giraffes, antelopes, elephants and the great wilder beasts during the migrations from July to October. You will also have a chance of seeing the Masai herdsmen’s grazing their cattle side by side with predators and prey. Watch some of the beautiful birds out of the 450 species found in the reserve.

Day 5: Masai Mara/ Kampala

We drive back trip ends when you are home.
